Who is Re-enactorguard insurance suitable for?
We created a policy that provides you with a portable policy that protects you and your kit. It's particularly useful for those reenactors that belong to more than one group and want to ensure that their kit is covered regardless of the group's insurance arrangements. Re-enactorguard also provides insurance for drills and practices where specific event cover might not be in place.
Re-enactorguard will also protect your kit whilst it's kept at home or other secure location, where a home contents policy may not cover kit over a specific value. A home contents policy may also not cover your kit whilst in a vehicle...Re-enactorguard can provide this cover.
Does Re-enactorguard provide group cover?
NO! Re-enactorguard is only suitable for individuals, as mentioned above it's designed to provide insurance against theft, loss and accidental damage for a 12 month period, regardless of whether your kit is or is not covered by any group cover.
Group cover is often arranged solely for specific events and therefore may not extend to smaller events or gatherings you attend throughout the year. Your group cover should provide you with £5 million public liability required for some events, Re-enactorguard fills in the gaps!
